Facilitation and support

Living with the climate crisis groups are designed to be facilitated by experienced facilitators from a variety of backgrounds and trainings. There is more detail on this in the Facilitator’s guide.

The Climate Psychology Alliance is committed to providing good support to facilitators. We expect this to develop different forms as the project matures. At present (July 2023) we are offering:

Introductory online experiential workshops for those who have read the materials and wish to facilitate. We have a number of workshops coming up in the autumn.

Thursday 14 September 11 am to 2.30 pm UK time. Book here
Thursday 16 November 11 am to 2.30 pm UK time. Book here

Customised workshops can also be provided to organisations with a number of people wishing to facilitate. Please enquire about this using the contact form

Monthly online support sessions with the authors, answering questions and providing support to facilitators and prospective facilitators. Current dates are

Tues 18th July 19.00-20.00
Tues 19th Sep 19.00-20.00

As the project develops we also hope to initiate Peer led reflective practice sessions, where facilitators can meet online to support each other, develop their practice and reflect together on whatever themes and issues arise.

All these sessions are organised and run by the Climate Psychology Alliance who manage the project and priority in booking is given to CPA members. If you’d like to join the CPA, take a look at the site here, or use this link to join
